Baylor Scott & White Health CFO resigns: 6 notes

Dallas-based Baylor Scott & White Health CFO Fred Savelsbergh stepped down from his role Feb. 1.

Here are six notes:

1. An email from the organization did not give the reason for Mr. Savelsbergh's departure.

2. Mr. Savelsbergh served as CFO since the health system's formation since 2014, according to a report by The Dallas Morning News.

2. During his tenure as CFO, the health system's total operating revenue grew from $2.59 billion to approximately $9.5 billion.

3. He worked with the Baylor health organization for 35-plus years.

5. Baylor Scott & White President Peter J. McCanna wrote in a note to staff Mr. Savelsbergh "will be missed by many with whom he interacted during his years of service. He is now looking forward to spending time with his family, and determining what he feels called to do next in his career."

6. Mr. McCanna is serving as interim CFO.
