Phoenix-based Banner Health has named new CEOs at five Arizona hospitals. The appointments were effective Dec. 9.
Three current leaders will move into new roles, according to the health system.
Debbie Flores will serve as CEO of Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale. She previously was CEO of Banner Boswell Medical Center in Sun City and Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center in Sun City West. She succeeds Deb Krmpotic, who has left Banner Health.
Sharon Lind was selected to serve as CEO of Banner Boswell Medical Center and Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center. Ms. Lind previously was CEO of Banner Goldfield Medical Center in Apache Junction and Banner Ironwood Medical Center in Queen Creek. Before becoming CEO of Banner Goldfield and Banner Ironwood medical centers in 2015, she was CEO of Banner Health's Ogallala (Neb.) Community Hospital and interim CEO of Sterling (Colo.) Regional MedCenter.
Robert Gardner was promoted to CEO of Banner Goldfield and Banner Ironwood medical centers. Mr. Gardner previously was COO of Banner Baywood Medical Center and Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa.

"Each has a proven record of success in their previous roles and are well-positioned for these new opportunities."
