Amita Health St. Joseph Hospital Chicago named John Baird CEO, effective June 20.
Five notes:
1. Mr. Baird most recently served as president and CEO of MetroSouth Medical Center in Blue Island, Ill.
2. He previously held several leadership positions with Presence Health, which became part of Lisle, Ill.-based Amita Health in March 2018.
3. He was president and CEO of Presence Health's Northwest Chicago region.
4. Mr. Baird is chair of the investor-owned hospital section of the Illinois Hospital Association.
5. He holds a master's degree in health administration and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in Durham, N.C.
