Mercy Health-Cincinnati has appointed Craig Schmidt COO of The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, according to the Cincinnati Business Courier.
Here are four things to know about Mr. Schmidt.
1. Mr. Schmidt joined Mercy Health in 2003.
2. Prior to his role as COO, Mr. Schmidt was director of clinical support services at Mercy Health's Fairfield (Ohio) Hospital and regional director of rehabilitation services.
3. Mr. Schmidt succeeds Jack Hill, who is now COO of Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Ind.
4. Mr. Schmidt is board-certified in physical therapy.
