1. Tim Attebery, CEO of Kingsport, Tenn.-based Holston Valley Medical Center, is resigning for a new job opportunity.
2. Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System selected Rich Cooley, DO, to serve as chief physician executive of its Eastern Wisconsin Division.
3. Cincinnati-based UC Health named Aimee Cordrey chief privacy officer, effective Aug. 13.
4. Ascension Michigan, part of St. Louis-based Ascension, appointed Stephanie Duggan, MD, regional president of its Northern ministries, effective Aug. 6.
5. Louisville, Ky.-based Baptist Health tapped Patrick Falvey to serve as COO, effective Sept. 4.
6. Oneida, Tenn.-based Big South Fork Medical Center Chief Nursing Officer Ashley Griffith is no longer with the organization.
7. Kent Hospital in Warwick, R.I., part of the Providence, R.I.-based Care New England family, named Robert J. Haffey, MSN, RN, president and COO, effective Sept. 10.
8. Boston-based New England Baptist Hospital President and CEO Trish Hannon, RN, will retire Sept. 30.
9. St. Luke's Hospital in Columbus, N.C., selected Katherine Hefner, MSN, to serve as chief nursing officer.
10. Irving, Texas-based Christus Health appointed Kevin Holland CEO of Christus Southwestern Louisiana, overseeing Christus St. Patrick Hospital and Christus Lake Area Hospital, both in Lake Charles, La.
11. Westfield (N.Y.) Memorial Hospital selected Valarie Jackson to serve as president, effective Aug. 13.
12. Chief Information Services Operating Officer Stuart James left Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health.
13. Children's Mercy Kansas City (Mo.) named Paul Kempinski president and CEO, effective Nov. 1.
