1. Salisbury, Md.-based Peninsula Regional Health System has tapped Sarah Arnett, DNP, RN, as chief nursing officer.
2. Mercy Health-Springfield (Ohio) named Rhonda Beane chief nursing officer.
3. UNC REX Healthcare in Raleigh, N.C., selected Ernie Bovio to serve as president.
4. Steve Burriss was named president of Chapel Hill-based UNC Health Care's Triangle region.
5. Morehead City, N.C.-based Carteret Health Care has selected William Case to serve as CEO, effective on or before Feb. 1, 2020.
6. Bismarck, N.D.-based CHI St. Alexius Health has appointed Terri Donovan vice president of operational finance and CFO.
7. Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health has selected Frank E. Emory Jr. to serve as executive vice president and chief administrative officer.
8. St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, Calif., has named Gloria Gammage, RN, chief nurse executive officer.
9. Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, Fla., has tapped Chris Green to serve as CFO.
10. Janet Hadar was appointed president of Chapel Hill-based UNC Hospitals.
11. St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla., has selected John Haffner, MD, to serve as CMO.
12. Memorial Hospital of Carbon County in Rawlins, Wyo., named Kenneth L. Harman CEO, effective Dec. 16.
13. Intermountain Healthcare President and CEO Marc Harrison, MD, will begin treatment for multiple myeloma at the Salt Lake City-based health system, he announced Nov. 4.
14. Vernon Memorial Healthcare in Viroqua, Wis., has selected David Hartberg to serve as CEO, effective in December.
15. Mercy Health-Springfield (Ohio) has tapped Chris Howe to serve as COO.
16. David Lundquist, president and CEO of Rome (N.Y.) Memorial Hospital, has stepped down.
17. St. Louis-based SSM Health has appointed Kyle Nondorf president of St. Mary's Hospital-Madison (Wis.).
18. New York City-based Montefiore Medicine named Philip O. Ozuah, PhD, as its new CEO, effective Nov. 15.
19. Cleveland-based University Hospitals appointed Alan J. Papa president of UH Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood, Ohio, effective Nov. 18.
20. Gary Park was named COO for Chapel Hill-based UNC Health Care.
21. David Pate, MD, president and CEO of Boise, Idaho-based St. Luke's Health System, plans to retire at the end of January, after a decade in the role.
22. Donald R. Riggs, chief compliance officer of Louisville, Ky.-based Baptist Health, plans to retire at the end of the year after 27 years with the health system.
23. Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health appointed Sheri Shapiro senior vice president and chief strategy officer.
24. Baltimore-based University of Maryland Medical System named Mohan Suntha, MD, president and CEO, effective Dec. 1.
25. Delta (Colo.) County Memorial Hospital appointed Robert Thorn interim CEO, effective Nov. 18.
