Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system executive moves in the last week:
1. Boundary Community Hospital in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, named Preston Becker CEO and administrator, effective Oct. 1.
2. Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare has selected Jennifer Berres to serve as senior vice president and chief human resource officer, effective Nov. 1.
3. Cathy Buck, president of Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, will retire June 30, 2020.
4. Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg, N.Y., named Richard A. Duvall CEO, effective in mid-October.
5. Michael Dandorph, president of Chicago-based Rush University System for Health, is resigning in October to pursue other opportunities.
6. Rich Goode, vice president and CFO of Dallas-based Children's Health, resigned Sept. 24, about a month after another finance leader left the organization.
7. St. Mary's Health System in Lewiston, Maine, has tapped René Dumont as its first chief patient experience officer.
8. The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, N.C., has tapped Preston Hammock to serve as president.
9. Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester, Va., has tapped Sandy Hurley, RN, to serve as chief nursing officer.
10. St. David's North Austin (Texas) Medical Center named Jill Leone CFO.
11. Cincinnati-based Bon Secours Mercy Health has selected Stephanie Meade, DNP, RN, to serve as chief nursing executive of its Mid-American Group/Cincinnati.
12. Dickinson County Healthcare System in Iron Mountain, Mich., has selected Chuck Nelson to serve as president and CEO.
13. Michael Purvis, CEO of Sutter Santa Rosa (Calif.) Regional Hospital, plans to retire in February 2020.
14. Lake Chelan (Wash.) Community Hospital has tapped George Rohrich to serve as CEO, effective in December.
15. Maria Scenna, CEO of St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, is resigning Oct. 3 for a leadership role at Boca Raton, Fla.-based Cancer Treatment Centers of America's facility in Philadelphia.
16. Methodist Healthcare appointed Kevin Scoggin COO for Methodist Hospital and Methodist Children's Hospital, all based in San Antonio.
17. Southcoast Health in New Bedford, Mass., has appointed Jacqueline Gannon Somerville, PhD, RN, senior vice president and chief nursing officer of its hospitals group.
18. Spence M. Taylor, MD, president of Greenville, S.C.-based Prisma Health-Upstate, resigned Sept. 19, noting that the health system is eliminating his role.
19. Henderson, Ky.-based Methodist Health named Linda White CEO, effective Oct. 1.
20. Minden (La.) Medical Center named Jim R. Williams CEO, effective Sept. 10.
