1. Michael J. Born, MD, president and CEO of Rockford, Ill.-based SwedishAmerican Hospital, has resigned.
2. Portland-based MaineHealth's CEO William Caron Jr. announced plans to retire in the next two years.
3. Delta (Colo.) County Memorial Hospital's board of trustees has decided not to renew CEO Jason Cleckler's contract.
4. Eden, N.C.-based UNC Rockingham Health Care appointed Steve Eblin interim CEO, effective Oct. 30.
5. Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County in New Albany, Miss., has tapped James Grantham to serve as administrator and CEO, effective Oct. 27.
6. Chad Jurgens, CEO of Jefferson Community Health & Life in Fairbury, Neb., is resigning for a new job opportunity.
7. Lorraine Lutton, president and CEO of Charleston, S.C.-based Roper St. Francis Healthcare, plans to step down for a new role at Cincinnati-based Bon Secours Mercy Health.
8. Mike Nagowski, CEO of Cape Fear Valley Health System, is on temporary medical leave.
9. Dan Ordyna, CEO of Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho, is resigning later this year.
10. Marsha Rappley, MD, CEO of Richmond-based Virginia Commonwealth University Health System and senior vice president for health sciences at Virginia Commonwealth University, plans to retire Jan. 2, 2020.
11. Steven Rose, RN, president and CEO of Seaford, Del.-based Nanticoke Health Services, will retire at the end of January 2020.
12. Centennial, Colo.-based Centura Health appointed Isaac Sendros CEO of its Avista Adventist Hospital in Louisville, Colo., effective Nov. 25.
13. George Tsunis will take over as temporary president and CEO of East Meadow, N.Y.-based Nassau University Medical Center.
14. Jackson-based University of Mississippi Medical Center selected Scott Whittemore to serve as interim CEO of Center University of Mississippi Medical Center-Grenada.
15. Thomas F. Zenty III, CEO of Cleveland-based University Hospitals, plans to retire at the end of January 2021.
