Fitch Ratings has affirmed the "AA-" long-term rating on the University of Chicago Medical Center's outstanding debt.
The rating affirmation is based on a number of factors, including UCMC's solid market position in a competitive service area, consistently strong profitability and integral relationship with the University of Chicago.
The outlook is stable.
