U of Cincinnati Health's flagship hospital to get $221M revamp

University of Cincinnati Health is planning to invest $221 million to upgrade its flagship hospital, the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, according to Cincinnati Business Courier.

The project includes renovating the 30-year-old emergency department, constructing two new medical buildings and building two parking garages. The renovations also include adding larger and better-equipped operating rooms.

The project is slated to begin next year and wrap up in 2025.

The upgrades are the first phase of a long-term multimillion-dollar project to renovate additional UC Health facilities.
