Practice Greenhealth has honored Cleveland Clinic with the 2016 Greening the OR Leadership Award.
"We are excited to recognize sustainability and innovation in the operating room with a competitive award that recognizes the one top facility working to reduce the environmental impact of its surgical suites," reads a Practice Greenhealth statement.
Any facilities that applied for the Greenhealth Partner for Change Award or completed a separate Greening the OR Award application were considered for the award.
Practice Greenhealth also gave 41 facilities the Greening the OR Recognition Award, a new accolade. To see a full list of those winners, click here.
