San Jose, Calif.-based Santa Clara Valley Healthcare has broken ground on a 230,000-square-foot medical facility, slated for completion in 2025, according to an Oct. 5 Commercial Property Executive report.
The 10-story building, which will be 5 miles from downtown San Jose, will include 16 different departments for a variety of patient services including urgent care and maternal and fetal medicine. Developers were loaned $205.3 million for the project, according to the report.
Santa Clara Valley Health is a three-hospital system that also operates 11 other healthcare facilities similar to the new building, according to its website.
