The California Society of Anesthesiologists recently elected new members for the 2012-2014 term, according to Tony Mira, president and chief executive officer of Anesthesia Business Consultants.
Peter Sybert, MD, was elected president; Paul Yost, MD, president-elect; Mark Zakowski, MD, chair of the legislative and practice affairs divisions; and Jeffrey Poage, MD, vice chair for legislative affairs in the legislative and practice affairs division.
Dr. Sybert has been a board-certified anesthesiologist for more than 30 years. He practices with the Anesthesia & Analgesia Medical Group in Santa Rosa, Calif.
