Mott Children's and Von Voigtlander Women's Hospital earned LEED Silver certification, boasting features like a green roof, occupancy sensors in patient rooms and HEPA filters in nearly all areas of the building to improve air quality. U-M Hospitals and Health Centers is committed to all six Healthier Hospitals Initiative Challenges, and earned a Greenhealth Partner for Change Award from Practice Greenhealth this year.
