Karen Teitelbaum. President and CEO of Sinai Health System (Chicago). Ms. Teitelbaum joined Sinai, a four-hospital safety-net system on Chicago's South and West Sides in 2007 as executive vice president and COO. She was promoted to CEO in 2014. During her tenure at the health system, Ms. Teitelbaum is credited with reducing costs by millions of dollars through population health management initiatives. Outside of Sinai, Ms. Teitelbaum is committed to leadership through her service on the boards of the Illinois Hospital Association, Metropolitan Chicago Healthcare Council, Family Health Network, and Women in Health-Life Sciences. Ms. Teitelbaum holds a master's of management degree from Evanston, Ill.-based Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
