Good Shepherd's dedication to safe, high-quality orthopedic care earned designation as a Blue Distinction Center for Knee and Hip Replacement from the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association. U.S. News & World Report rated Good Shepherd's orthopedic program as high performing in both hip and knee replacement. In August, a Good Shepherd nurse became the first patient to undergo a same day hip replacement at the hospital, and she was back at work full-time within a month.
