Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center was ranked by U.S. News & World Report as the No. 1 hospital in Virginia and in the top 50 in the nation for orthopedic care in 2015-16. Its Department of Orthopedic Surgery has areas focused on joint replacement and spine health and also includes the Sports Medicine Clinic, a full-service orthopedic clinic with orthopedic surgeons and physical therapists.
