The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center — Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute share an aligned mission on the Ohio State University campus: to provide cancer care and further cures for the disease. Ohio State opened the James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute in 1990, and the two facilities support more than 200 oncologists and manage hundreds of active or pending cancer trials, including genetic- and molecular-based research. U.S. News & World Report ranked Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital among the top 50 in the nation for cancer care in 2017-18.
