A recent survey of nearly 150 healthcare CFOs and other finance executives finds that health systems are implementing new technology-driven practices to bolster revenue and recover working capital. They are also prioritizing trading partner engagement strategies as a growth driver. In fact, more than 92 percent of respondents said revenue growth depends on better alignment and collaboration with referring providers in their communities. In response, health systems indicate they are activating care coordination strategies that extend beyond the walls of the hospital, as they work toward a new value-based system.
