UMass agrees to $112M distribution deal with Medline

Mundelein, Ill.-based Medline recently agreed to a five year, $112 million prime vendor deal with UMass Memorial Health Care in Worcester, Mass.

Through the distribution agreement, Medline will provide six of the health system's hospitals with necessary medical supplies and supply chain solutions.

UMass Memorial expects to save $1 million in the first year of the agreement.

Medline and UMass Memorial maintained a supply chain partnership for almost five years before entering into the prime distribution deal.
