Charlotte, N.C.-based group purchasing organization Premier on Monday launched a new automated data analytics solution for healthcare providers.
The new platform, called PremierConnect Service Line Analytics, integrates supply chain and pharmaceutical spend with utilization and clinical outcomes data to help providers make evidence-based care delivery decisions. The solution can also benchmark this information with other peer organizations to identify areas of unjustified variation, according to a news release.
"This solution allows us to get utilization data — not just purchase data – with a couple of clicks of the mouse," said Greg Strohs, RPh, corporate director of pharmacy at Adventist Health System in Winter Park, Fla. "We can easily provide answers for our leaders in finance, supply chain and other areas on changes in utilization that can impact outcomes and spend."
Premier will debut the new platform on February 20-23 at HIMSS in booth #5571, according to a news release.
