Intermountain Healthcare's supply chain organization honored four of its suppliers for their exceptional contributions to the Salt Lake City-based health system's cost, care quality and patient outcomes.
The 2017 Supplier Award recipients were chosen based on input from several Intermountain clinical areas and the supply chain organization's leadership team, as well as the supplier's current and historical performance.
Here are this year's winners.
- Stryker Corp. won the Customer Service Excellence Award for its proactive, responsive and transparent collaboration with Intermountain.
- GE Healthcare earned the Cost, Quality, Outcome for helping the health system improve its medical imaging processes, which lowered costs, maintained quality and improved patient outcomes.
- Sterilmed received the Corporate Social Responsibility Award for implementing a sustainable purchasing process for reprocessed medical devices.
- Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices won the Supply Chain Excellence Award for working with Intermountain to standardize products and processes via a collaborative approach.
