Gartner has selected fives companies that excelled in developing and implementing high-impact supply chain initiatives as winners of its 2016 Supply Chainnovator Awards.
For healthcare, AstraZeneca was recognized for its Healthy Heart Africa program, which is utilizing supply chains across multiple networks to dramatically increase the number of Africans who are screened for hypertension, with a goal of reaching 10 million by 2025. Mercy ROi was also recognized for its Unified Analytics Platform, which combines multiple platforms in one to improve quality of care, cost and decision making for healthcare organizations.
In the high-tech manufacturing category, Cisco and Jabil were recognized. In the consumer/retail category, Mead Johnson was recognized.
