Pennsylvania Health Alliance Now Called Noble Health Alliance

A health system alliance formed in 2013 between four Pennsylvania health systems is now called Noble Health Alliance.

The alliance involves Abington (Pa.) Health, Crozer-Keystone Health System in Springfield, Pa., and Philadelphia-based Einstein Healthcare Network and Aria Health. The affiliated entity chose the name "because this initiative is driven by a noble idea — to work together to continuously improve the health of the families in our communities," Laurence Merlis, president and CEO of Abington Health, said in a news release.

The partnership was formed to focus on population health, care coordination, backend efficiencies and management of employee healthcare benefits.
