The following hospitals in Texas received top marks on patients' HCHAPS surveys in the category of nurse communication.
At least 91 percent of patients at these seven hospitals responded on their surveys that nurses always communicated well. In Texas, the average is 80 percent, the same as the national average.
The figures are from CMS' Hospital Compare website and represent HCAHPS scores collected from January 2015 through December 2015.
Note: Hospitals with fewer than 100 completed surveys were excluded from consideration for this list.
