In several states, armies of organizers are training to help enroll uninsured Americans in the health insurance exchanges established by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, according to a Reuters report.
California, Oregon, Vermont, Connecticut and Washington have already launched training programs for enrollment advisors, with more states, including Illinois and New York, slated to begin similar programs in the coming months, according to the report.
The enrollment advisors are part of the Obama administration's efforts to enroll 7 million people in the exchanges in 2014, including 2.7 million young and healthy adults, according to the report.
