The Obama Administration has invested an additional $33 million in a publicity campaign to promote the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, according to a report by The Hill.
The money was added to a contract with public relations firm Weber Shandwick, according to the report.
The report quoted a CMS spokesperson explaining the increased financial outlay: "This contract will provide CMS with resources from Weber Shandwick to conduct a public education and outreach campaign for the Health Insurance Marketplace, which will be one part of our wide-ranging outreach efforts."
