The House of Representatives has voted to delay both the employer and individual mandates outlined by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, according to a report in Bloomberg News.
The vote was largely symbolic, as the employer mandate had already been delayed by the Obama Administration and the bills are not expected to pass in the Democrat-controlled Senate, according to the report.
The President also vowed to veto the bills if they did find their way to his desk.
Since the act became law in 2010, the House has voted 37 times to repeal or defund at least part of the law, according to the report.
