Alcohol ruled a factor in Minn. hospital anesthesiology chief's death

The death of Christopher Robert, DO, the chief of anesthesiology at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, has been ruled accidental, according to the Star Tribune.

Dr. Robert's body was found on the side of an interstate near downtown Minneapolis in December. He was last known to be walking home from HCMC's anesthesiology department holiday party.

Now, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner says the physician died of a "blunt force head injury sustained in an apparent fall," and that alcohol was a factor in the fall, according to the Star Tribune.
