The Becker's editorial team considered nominations and selected leaders for this list through an editorial review process, including reviews of peer nominations.

J. Eric Evans. CEO of the Texas Region at Tenet Healthcare (Dallas). In April, Mr. Evans, 37, was appointed CEO for Tenet Healthcare's newly created Texas Region, leaving his post as CEO for Sierra Providence Health Network in El Paso, Texas, which he had held since September 2012. [READ MORE]

Peter Fleischut, MD. Associate Chief Innovation Officer, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (New York City). As associate CIO of NewYork-Presbyterian, Dr. Fleischut, 37, oversees numerous hospitalwide efforts to implement innovative technologies, mHealth and data analytics, building on the health IT groundwork he laid as a professor in the hospital's anesthesiology department and as founding director of the Center for Perioperative Outcomes. John Gennaro. Director of Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Mr. Gennaro, 37, was appointed director of the Cincinnati VA Medical Center, a facility that delivers care to more than 43,000 veterans per year and has an operating budget of more than $387 million, in May. [READ MORE]
Dustin Greene. CEO of TriStar Horizon Medical Center (Dickson, Tenn.). Mr. Greene, 36, was named a 2014 Rising Star by Becker's Healthcare and has since been appointed CEO for TriStarHorizonMedicalCenter, a 130-bed hospital and accredited chest pain center within the TriStar system. [READ MORE]
