Becker's Hospital Review has named the following hospitals to the 2015 edition of "100 hospitals and health systems with great oncology programs."
The hospitals and health systems included on this list lead the way in care for patients with cancer. These organizations have received recognition for their clinical outcomes, multidisciplinary care teams, clinical expertise and oncology research. They are also influential in cancer education and prevention efforts.
Hospitals were selected for inclusion on this list based on a number of factors, including recognition received, accreditations earned and cancer-oriented group memberships held. Specifically, the Becker's editorial team examined U.S. News & World Report cancer care rankings, CareChex cancer care rankings, BlueCross BlueShield Association Blue Distinction Center designation, National Cancer Institute designations, Commission on Cancer accreditations and awards and National Comprehensive Cancer Network membership. Hospitals on this list have several of these recognitions.
Note: This list is not a ranking and is also not an endorsement of included hospitals or associated healthcare providers. Organizations cannot pay for inclusion on this list. They are presented in alphabetical order.
