Cleveland Clinic is looking to hire 500 registered nurses at three job fairs over the next two months, according to a Crain's Cleveland Business report.
Here are six things to know about Cleveland Clinic's plans and the job fairs.
1. Cleveland Clinic is recruiting RNs at all levels, from recent graduates to those with several years of experience.
2. Inpatient RN positions are available at Cleveland Clinic's main campus, eight regional hospitals, 18 family health centers and in a variety of medical and surgical areas, as well as home care.
3. A nursing student in his or her senior year or a new graduate nurse without a license may attend the job fairs to get additional information about nursing opportunities.
4. The three job fairs are not open to licensed practical nurses or current Cleveland Clinic caregivers.
5. The three job fairs will take place at the following times and locations, according to the report.
- Aug. 21, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Executive Caterers at Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. This fair includes job opportunities at Euclid (Ohio) Hospital, Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights, Ohio, Medina (Ohio) Hospital and South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights, Ohio.
- Sept. 3, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., at LaCentre Conference & Banquet Facility in Westlake, Ohio. The fair will be hiring nurses for Fairview Hospital in Cleveland, Lakewood (Ohio) Hospital and Lutheran Hospital in Cleveland.
- Sept. 18, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Executive Caterers at Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights. The fair will be hiring for Cleveland Clinic's main campus and its children's hospital.
