HCA North Texas, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America, has acquired 84-bed Forest Park Medical Center in Dallas from FPMC Realty Partners III and BT Forest Park Realty Partners.
The 190,000-square-foot hospital has 22 operating suites and 16 ICU rooms.
The Dallas hospital is the second Forest Park facility to join HCA North Texas. In April, the system completed its purchase of 54-bed Forest Park Medical Center – Frisco (Texas), now named Medical City Frisco.
Forest Park Medical Center's network of six physician-owned facilities fell into financial trouble in 2015, and its hospitals filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in late 2015 and early 2016.
