1. WellSpan, Ephrata Community Hospital Finalize Affiliation Plans
WellSpan Health in York, Pa., and Ephrata (Pa.) Community Hospital finalized plans for Ephrata to join WellSpan.

2. Northeast Georgia, Habersham Medical Centers to Form Partnership
Gainesville, Ga.-based Northeast Georgia Medical Center signed a letter of intent with the Habersham County Hospital Authority to work toward a partnership with Habersham Medical Center in Demorest, Ga.

3. 2 LifePoint Hospitals in Virginia Create Regional System
Memorial Hospital of Martinsville (Va.) and Henry County and Danville (Va.) Regional Medical Center combined to form a regional health system.

4. Hutcheson Medical Center Seeks Long-Term Partner
Hutcheson Medical Center in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., issued a request for proposals to find a healthcare partner to enter into a long-term lease agreement with the hospital.

5. Southern Illinois Healthcare Partners With BJC Collaborative
Southern Illinois Healthcare in Carbondale joined the BJC Collaborative, a loose coalition of Midwestern health systems, with the goal of improving the "quality and efficiency of healthcare" throughout the region.

6. Proctor Hospital Agrees to Merge With UnityPoint Health-Methodist
Executives at UnityPoint Health-Methodist and Proctor Hospital, both based in Peoria, Ill., signed an initial affiliation agreement that would merge the two organizations under one system.

8. Ochsner Health System to Manage Hancock Medical Center
New Orleans-based Ochsner Health System was approved to manage the operations of Hancock Medical Center, a 47-bed, county-owned hospital in Bay St. Louis, Miss.
