Claims clearinghouse and revenue cycle management vendor Navicure signed a definitive agreement to receive a strategic investment from Bain Capital Private Equity, a global private investment firm.
3. Ontario Systems takes over Ultimate Business Systems: 5 things to know
Muncie, Ind.-based Ontario Systems acquired Columbia Ultimate Business Systems in Vancouver, Wash.
4. MedData to acquire RCM company for $400M
MedData, a MEDNAX company and a national provider of technology-enabled healthcare services, agreed to acquire Cardon Outreach, one of the nation's largest providers of integrated revenue cycle management services.
5. AMN Healthcare to acquire Peak Health Solutions
San Diego-based AMN Healthcare will acquire medical coding and consulting company Peak Health Solutions, based in Franklin, Tenn.
6. DAS Health acquires RCM provider: 4 things to know
Tampa, Fla.-based DAS Health acquired Falcon Healthcare Systems. DAS Health is the largest national reseller of Aprima Medical Software and a provider of patient-centric health IT and management services. Falcon Healthcare Systems is a Las Vegas-based provider of managed IT services, revenue cycle management, practice management and EHR technologies.
7. McKesson to purchase Canadian drugstore chain for $2.2B
McKesson plans to take on Canada's pharmaceutical heavyweights in a $2.2 billion deal with Katz Group for its Rexall Health pharmacy chain.
