1. University of Michigan, Metro Health close acquisition deal
The Ann Arbor-based University of Michigan Health System and Wyoming, Mich.-based Metro Health closed an acquisition agreement to provide quality care and services to residents in western Michigan.
2. Trinitas Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph's launch integrated behavioral network
To provide patients with better access to behavioral health services and programs, Elizabeth, N.J.-based Trinitas Regional Medical Center and Paterson, N.J.-based St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center launched a comprehensive integrated behavioral health network.
3. Princeton HealthCare System to join University of Pennsylvania Health System
The executive committee of the board of trustees of Philadelphia-based University of Pennsylvania Health System approved plans for the health system to partner with Plainsboro, N.J.-based Princeton HealthCare System, pending regulatory approval.
4. Mercy Iowa City, UnityPoint Health-Cedar Rapids sign letter of intent to affiliate
Mercy Iowa City (Iowa) and UnityPoint Health-Cedar Rapids (Iowa) signed a letter of intent to enter into a relationship to provide residents in the area better access to care.
5. KentuckyOne to end management of University of Louisville Hospital
Louisville-based KentuckyOne Health loosened ties with University of Louisville Hospital under a new agreement that took place last week.
6. CHS sells 2 hospitals for $45M to drive down debt
Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems signed a definitive agreement to sell Yakima (Wash.) Regional Medical Center & Cardiac Center and Toppenish (Wash.) Community Hospital to Sunnyside (Wash.) Community Hospital & Clinics for approximately $45 million.
7. Crescent Health Solutions partners with Givens Communities, Sona Pharmacy + Clinic
Asheville, N.C.-based Crescent Health Solutions, a healthcare delivery solutions provider, partnered with Givens Communities, a company dedicated to providing care to seniors within its senior living community, and Sona Pharmacy + Clinic, both located in Asheville.
8. USC's Keck Medicine strengthens ties to Mexico City with research, academic agreement
The Los Angeles-based University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine and the Ministry of Health in Mexico City, Mexico signed an agreement to facilitate research and academic opportunities for USC students.

20. Lehigh Valley Health Network, Pocono Health System merger stalled 1.5 years
