13. Michigan State University, hospital form new medical school campus
East Lansing-based Michigan State University partnered with Novi, Mich.-based Providence-Providence Park Hospital to create a new medical school campus in southeast Michigan, according to The Detroit News.
14. New medical school to open in Harlem, NY
The City University of New York will open a new medical school in Harlem, New York, according to a Crain's New York Business report. The CUNY School of Medicine, which will be located on the CityCollege campus, was accredited July 14.
15. Ohio University opens medical school at South Pointe Hospital
Ohio University's Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine extended its campus to include a new medical school at Cleveland Clinic's Warrensville Heights, Ohio-based South Pointe Hospital, according to a Cleveland.com report.
