U.S. News & World Report has released its 2016-17 Best Children's Hospitals rankings, and once again, Boston Children's Hospital has been deemed the best pediatric hospital in the nation. This is the third year in a row and the fifth year overall that Boston Children's earned the top spot on the Honor Roll.
Boston Children's Hospital ranked No. 1 in eight of the 10 ranked pediatric specialties, falling short only on diabetes and pulmonology.
Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., were on the Honor Roll for 2015-16 but slipped off of this year's list.
New this year to the Honor Roll is Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford (Calif.).
For the 2016-17 rankings, 106 hospitals were evaluated and 78 were ranked in at least one specialty. To qualify for the Honor Roll, hospitals had to perform at the highest levels in three or more specialties.
The 11 hospitals on this year's Honor Roll are:

3. Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center
4. Texas Children's Hospital (Houston)
5. Seattle Children's Hospital
6. Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago
7. Children's Hospital Los Angeles
7. Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC
9. Children's Hospital Colorado (Aurora)
10. Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford (Palo Alto, Calif.)
10. Nationwide Children's Hospital (Columbus)
