Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee appeared on “Fox and Friends” Monday to advocate for President Donald Trump, saying he was “kind of like a doctor with gruff bedside manner,” according to The Hill.
Mr. Huckabee went on to say that he’d “rather have this president, who gets things done, then one who comes in, he’s nice and he’s polite and he smiles, but my family member dies in the hospital bed.”
Mr. Huckabee ran against Mr. Trump in the 2016 Republican primary but has since become a public supporter of the president.
