Edgewood, Ky.-based St. Elizabeth Healthcare has scheduled a job fair for April 23 to fill more than 400 positions, according to a Cincinnati Business Courier report.
The health system has openings for acute care nurses, including in the psychiatric field, according to the report. Nurses and experienced surgical technicians are also needed in specialty areas such as the Level III neonatal intensive care unit, perioperative services and critical care, including transitional care, the report reads.
In addition to clinical jobs, St. Elizabeth, the largest employer in Northern Kentucky, also has openings for nonclinical jobs, including housekeeping, cafeteria or laundry workers.
Health system spokesman Guy Karrick told the Cincinnati Business Courier many of the jobs are available due to expansion. St. Elizabeth plans to build a $40 million facility in northern Kentucky in a joint venture with Red Bank, N.J.-based Sun Behavioral Health to focus on mental health and addiction services.
St. Elizabeth currently operates six facilities throughout Northern Kentucky — St. Elizabeth Covington, St. Elizabeth Edgewood, St. Elizabeth Falmouth, St. Elizabeth Florence, St. Elizabeth Ft. Thomas and St. Elizabeth Grant in Williamstown.
