Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth is eliminating 30 medical coder positions and will outsource some of these services to T-System, a Dallas-based company that provides emergency room documentation, coding software and services.
T-System will take over certain charge capture processes and ER diagnosis and procedure coding for PeaceHealth, according to The Columbian.
The 30 affected positions are throughout the PeaceHealth system, which includes 10 hospitals across Washington, Oregon and Alaska.
