Rochester, Mich.-based Crittenton Hospital Medical Center has changed its name to Ascension Crittenton Hospital, the first of Ascension's hospitals to implement the company's unified branding strategy.
St. Louis-based Ascension plans to adopt this unified brand at the rest of its care sites nationwide over the next 12 months. The signage both outside and inside the hospital has been changed to reflect the changes.
“This is an important milestone in our One Ascension journey,” said Gwen MacKenzie, senior vice president at Ascension Healthcare and market executive at Ascension Michigan Ministry. “Ascension Crittenton Hospital is helping lay the foundation for our health ministry’s initiative to unite all of our local brands, names and care teams. This will lead to and reflect further collaboration among physicians and caregivers, locally and nationally, enhancing the care we provide to those we are privileged to serve.”
