The American College of Healthcare Executives is now accepting applications to its Thomas C. Dolan Executive Diversity Program, which supports diversity and inclusion in senior healthcare leadership. Six scholars will gain positions with the EDP.
Applications for the 2017 program will be accepted through July 8.
The selected scholars will receive full tuition for seven educational sessions, including the ACHE's annual Congress on Healthcare Leadership. During the yearlong program, the EDP cohort will have specialized curriculum opportunities that prepare them to successfully navigate potential career challenges and enhance executive presence. The scholars will also be individually matched with a mentor with whom they will interact one-on-one. They will gain access to an expanded network of leaders and participation in formal leadership education and career assessments that strengthen self-awareness and critical leadership skills.
The Thomas C. Dolan Executive Diversity Program was established by the Foundation of ACHE's Fund for Innovation in Healthcare Leadership to honor Thomas C. Dolan, PhD, who served as president and CEO of ACHE from 1991 to 2013.
To be selected for on of the EDP positions, candidates must meet the application requirements and submit an application by the July 8 deadline.
