Here are 30 hospitals that have received at least a $50,000 grant this year—many have received millions.

Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn, Ill., received a $50,000 grant from Hyundai to help treat children diagnosed with cancer, according to a Chicago Tribune report.

Several New York hospitals received grants from the Department of Health, including River Hospital, which received $2.7 million and Carthage Area Hospital which received $3 million. Lewis County General Hospital received $6.5 million for debt restructuring and Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg received $14.3 million. Massena Memorial Hospital received $5.8 million to assist with a conversion from a municipally-owned hospital to a private, nonprofit facility, according to the Watertown Daily Times.

• Moses Ludington Hospital in Ticonderoga: $9.1 million
• Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh: $5.5 million
• Hudson Headwaters Health Network in Queensbury: $2.9 million
• Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone: $450,000
• Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake: $249,163
• Citizen Advocates in Malone: $155,000

Union Hospital and University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health received a four-year $9.2 million grant from the Health Services Cost Review Commission to create four teams of caregivers to work with patients in their home and community.

Napa Valley Hospital received a grant from The Doctor’s Company Foundation of $80,020 for a hands-on simulation education to increase neurological stroke assessment skills at Queens of the Valley Medical Center in Napa.

St. Joseph Hospital in Polson received $99,023 to develop a Western Montana Rural Nursing Collaborative that will serve patients in rural areas.

Acadia Hospital received $50,000 to expand access to suboxon in a pilot project that could be a model for other communities.

Benson Hospital received $510,386 from the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust for eCare for connecting rural patients to emergency and pharmacy services.

Yale New Have (Conn.) Children’s Hospital received the $50,000 Impact Grant from Hyundai Impact Grant to help children with cancer.

Valley Presbyterian Hospital received $250,000 from the Henry L. Guenther Foundation to fund an emergency department expansion.

The Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust in Winston-Salem granted Northern Hospital of Surry County $148,500 to fight diabetes with the expansion of the Diabetic Center of Excellence at Northern Family Medicine.

Greenville, Ill.-based HSHS Holy Family Hospital received a $155,000 grant to provide upgraded telemedicine equipment.

Miriam Hospital received a five-year federal grant for $743,869 to study media influence on risk behaviors for sexually active young adults and develop an online health media literacy intervention designed to reduce STDs and HIV.

Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago received $75,000 from The Chicagoland Area Affiliate of Susan G. Komen to fund two breast cancer screening navigators.

UniHealth Foundation granted Dignity Health Glendale Memorial Hospital $795,000 to fund the hospital’s Integrated Supportive Care, according to the LA Times. The grant will improve care chronically and seriously ill patient care.

Nyack (N.Y.) Hospital received a $100,000 grant from the state to revamp the hospital’s prenatal center.

Golisano Children’s Hospital in Rochester, N.Y., received a $3.6 million grant to research pediatric asthma.

The United States Department of Defense granted Rhode Island Hospital $2.2 million to research treatment that could prevent post-traumatic osteoarthritis.

Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, Long Island, received a $23.7 million grant to fortify the facility against extreme weather. The grant was approved by FEMA’s FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant.

The Health Policy Commission awarded Signature Healthcare Brockton hospital a $3.5 million CHART Grant to implement new technology and improve patient services.

Hacienda Children’s Hospital in Mesa, Ariz., received a $100,000 grant from the Board of Visitors.
