Baltimore-based University of Maryland Medical System named Magaly Rodriguez de Bittner, PharmD, the inaugural fellow for its population health fellowship.

1. Dr. Rodriguez de Bittner, PharmD, is a pharmacy practice and science professor and associate dean for clinical services and practice transformation at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy in Baltimore.

2. As part of the year-long fellowship, Dr. Rodriguez de Bittner will help define roles for pharmacists in different population health initiatives, such as accountable care organizations and the Quality Care Network.
