UnitedHealth Group has named John Rex, former executive vice president and CFO of the company's Optum unit, as its next CFO.
As CFO of UnitedHealth Group, Mr. Rex will oversee treasury, venture and private equity investment activity, and mergers and acquisitions.
He succeeds David S. Wichman, who will now devote his full attention to his duties as president of the company.
