Sparrow Health System in Lansing, Mich., has appointed Kevin Sharp as vice president of revenue cycle.
Below are three things to know about Mr. Sharp.
1. Mr. Sharp joined Sparrow in 2009 and has served as executive director of revenue cycle since 2012.
2. Mr. Sharp spearheaded Sparrow's billing transition to Epic and oversaw medical records, registration, payer contracting and physician and hospital billing operations.
3. Mr. Sharp represents Sparrow on the Ingham Health Plan board of directors and sits on the Healthcare Financial Management Association's national advisory council on revenue cycle.
