Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wis., has named Michael Allen as its new CFO, effective this month.
Previously, Mr. Allen served as CFO of Winona (Minn.) Health for the past 12 years. He also served as CFO and chief compliance officer of Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services in Gibson City, Ill. Mr. Allen also has been heavily involved with the Healthcare Financial Management Association, serving as a board member during the 2012-13 term and as chair of the group's National Board of Examiners.
Mr. Allen replaces Gordon Edwards. A memo from Gundersen did not state Mr. Edwards' next pursuits.
