6 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

The following hospital and health system CEO moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Tampa General Hospital CEO Jim Burkhart resigned unexpectedly after nearly four years of heading the safety net hospital.

2. Moberly (Mo.) Regional Medical Center CEO John M. Dawes resigned.

3. The Coeur d'Alene Tribe's Benewah Medical and Wellness Center in Plummer, Idaho, appointed Helo Hancock CEO.

4. The Southern Coos Health District's board of directors named JoDee Tittle CEO of Bandon, Ore.-based Southern Coos Hospital and Health Center.

5. Putnam, Conn.-based Day Kimball Healthcare President and CEO Bob Smanik resigned, effective immediately.

6. Billings (Mont.) Clinic CEO Nicholas Wolter, MD, plans to retire in January 2017.
