1. Donald L. Jernigan, president and CEO of Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Adventist Health System, is retiring.
2. Lee Ann Liska has been named executive vice president for health affairs and CEO of Augusta (Ga.) University Medical Center, effective Aug. 22.
3. Rapid City (S.D.) Regional Hospital President Mick Gibbs resigned.
4. Jersey City (N.J.) Medical Center added Michael Prilutsky as COO.
5. The Dalles, Ore.-based Mid-Columbia Medical Center's President and CEO Duane Francis is retiring, effective Oct. 31.
6. Fall River, Mass.-based Saint Anne's Hospital named John Conlon, DO, chief medical officer.
7. Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System named John A. Ludwig president and CEO of HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland, Ill.
8. Hammond, La.-based North Oaks Health System appointed Michele K. Sutton as its president and CEO, effective at the end of the year.
9. Nathan Husmann was named CFO of St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare, one of the largest physician practice management organizations in California.
10. Alameda (Calif.) Health System added Ghassan Jamaleddine, MD, as its new chief medical officer.
11. After around one month as interim CEO of Manchester, N.H.-based Elliot Health System, Gary Muller has left the post.
12. Mishawaka, Ind.-based Saint Joseph Health System named Chad W. Towner CEO, effective Oct. 14.
13. Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America appointed Heather Rohan as president of its TriStar Division, which includes 16 hospitals in Tennessee, Kentucky and Georgia.
14. Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Md., a part of Johns Hopkins Medicine, named Jacqueline Schultz president.
15. Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, Calif., named Ronald Bingham COO, effective immediately.
16. Baton Rouge (La.) General/General Health System President and CEO Mark Slyter has stepped down from his roles.
17. Conemaugh Health System in Johnstown, Pa., named Steve Tucker CEO of the system, effective immediately.
18. New York City-based NYC Health + Hospitals made four appointments to its senior executive leadership team.
